N6YA: A Night of Fire, Redesign, and the Passing of the Torch

Nexting N6YA Ceromony

Date: June 26, 2025
Location: The Estate on Federal Hill
Time: 7:00PM – 10:00PM

Opening : A Welcome That Meant More

Under the glow of soft lights and rising anticipation, Patrick (President of The Estate KL) and Sophia Tey (Chairman of Nexting) opened the night not just with a welcome speech — but with a reminder of why N6YA exists: to connect, to celebrate, and to talk about what’s next.

For many, this wasn’t just a celebration. It was a rare opportunity to witness Nexting’s spirit in action — through people, symbols, and fire.

Growth Strategy: Where Business, Talent, and Capital Intersect

Skye Lam, CEO of Nexting, stood before a full house — not to announce a new milestone, but to invite everyone into the next phase of growth.

His message was clear: Nexting isn’t just expanding in size. We’re evolving in dimension — by leveraging the synergy of three forces: Business, Capital, and Talent.

From our strong foundation of 20 brands across retail, services, and physical products, we’re now stepping into two major frontiers:

  • AI, not just as a trend — but as a practical lever in areas like customer & guest experience, supply chain optimization, predictive analysis, and risk management.

  • Web3, where we’re exploring real-world assets and new ownership infrastructure that empowers transparency, access, and digital-native communities.

This isn’t about chasing buzzwords.

It’s about following the compass of what matters — and building the future from where we are.

Founders: The People Who Make It Possible

As part of Nexting’s growth strategy, Skye Lam didn’t just talk about capital or brands.

He talked about talent — and what it means to be a founder.

These founders bring with them the same spirit that built Nexting in the first place:
A sense of foundership.

They now lead Nexting’s many core businesses — not as successors, but as torchbearers.

Because as we move forward, talent is more than just a department.

It’s the driving force behind every transformation.

Financial Performance: Momentum That Speaks

Amanda Hew, CFO of Nexting, took the stage to walk the audience through the company’s financial journey.

From inception to now, Nexting’s revenue has grown by nearly 200% year-on-year — a powerful testament to the synergy between bold ideas and grounded execution.

Beyond revenue, our capital gains have also grown by 40%, reflecting healthy financial momentum and strategic value creation across ventures.

The Handover: From One Torch to Another

Then came the most symbolic moment of the night.

Chairman Sophia Tey officially handed over her role to Mr. Chang Kon Ling, marking a new chapter in Nexting’s leadership. But rather than a simple announcement, the handover was woven with deep symbolism — a reminder that leadership at Nexting is not just about position, but about spirit.

As part of the ceremony, Sophia passed four symbolic items to Mr. Chang:

  • A 《The Art of War》 book set

  • The 626 car plate

  • The “N” Pen

  • Monumental Symbolism

Then came the torch.

At the center of the stage stood a single, unlit fire bowl.

Sophia stepped forward and lit the flame — not for herself, and not for Mr. Chang — but a shared flame, born in between.

Mr. Chang then stepped up, torch in hand, and ignited it from that same central fire.

The room fell quiet — but only for a moment.

Then came the applause.
It was loud because everyone understood what had just happened.

This wasn’t just a handover.

It was a moment etched in Nexting’s history — where one chapter gave its blessing to the next.

The flame had been shared.

The torch had been passed — not in haste, but with history.

And a new chapter began.

Nexting x Doremart x Jimart: The IPO Vow

The ceremony continued with a public signing between Nexting, Doremart, and Jimart, announcing their alliance as Official IPO Partners.

Together, they unveiled VISI2040 — a joint vision to reshape the retail landscape with more humanity, neighbourhood connection, and sustainable models.

Redesign the solution for the next generation” — this wasn’t a tagline. It was a vow.

To mark this pivotal moment, Mr. Chang Kon Ling (Chairman of Nexting), Mr. Cola Hii (Chairman of Doremart), and Mr. Jayden Lim (Chairman of Jimart) stood side by side, each holding the official VISI2040 IPO Partner plaque.

It was a visible seal of intent, captured at the exact moment three visions aligned as one future.

A Finale to Remember

The evening ended in bursts of light.

Fireworks lit up the KL sky — but what stayed with everyone wasn’t just the show.

It was the quiet sense that something meaningful had happened, and something even bigger was beginning.

N6YA wasn’t just an event.

It was a milestone, a handover, and a new starting line.
